Water Playgrounds are open for the season. Come out & enjoy!
Nothing beats the heat better than water and fun! The Chicago Park District water playgrounds provide children a refreshing way to cool off while playing on a hot summer day. While most water playgrounds are adjacent to outdoor swimming pools; there are few freestanding at parks across the city. Water playgrounds are traditionally turned on in late June, and turned off in late August. Features may include slides, tire swings, and sprays from all angles. We highly recommend proper swim attire for maximum enjoyment. Please remember to follow the water playground rules.
