Park Kids Are Our Kids Financial Assistance Fund

The Chicago Park District provides thousands of children ages 6-12 years old with a variety of leisure and recreational activities in a safe, supervised environment. Through our Summer Day Camp and Park Kids afterschool program, participants enjoy arts & crafts, sports, wellness, nature-based activities and in-house special events year-round.

For working families who may be struggling financially, our programs are a place for kids to have adult supervision, access to healthy meals, and to stay engaged in new and innovative ways. We offer financial assistance to all qualifying families in Chicago. No child is turned away for the inability to pay.

The Chicago Park District Financial Assistance Fund provides support to make out-of-school time programs possible for all children regardless of their family’s financial situation. A tax-deductible gift of any size helps in these efforts.

“We can't really afford a lot of the other summer camp options available, and this made it possible to give our kid a fun summer with other kids!”
