Piano concerts at parks citywide during the 4th annual anniversary of #PianosinthePark

On June 21, five (5) pianos were placed in five parks around the city and will remain in each park for anyone to play through Labor Day. All ages, abilities and types of music are welcome! Pianos in the Parks is presented in partnership with Make Music Chicago, Night Out in the Parks, and Chicago Public Library. The pianos are available for playing at Buttercup, Mozart, Washington, McKinley and Jackson Parks.

A sixth piano is touring the city and inviting pianists to serenade audiences small and large at local parks. During Lollapalooza, electronic duo Goldfish joined us for an impromptu set on the Red Piano, provided by the International Music Foundation and the Chicago Chopin Foundation, at the Grant Skate Park. Additional performers that have joined the citywide tour include Paul Kendrick at Seneca Park, Brian Fallon from The Gaslight Athem at Buttercup Playlot Park, Samuel del Real at Northerly Island and Macie Stewart from OHMME at Mozart Park.

Check out Goldfish's awesome performance.
