At Kiwanis Park, the North Park Village Nature Center Teen Council will lead a nature walk. We will focus on peace in the city and finding nature everywhere. At the conclusion of our hike, we will walk to the North River Commission office at 3403 W. Lawrence Ave, #201. At the North River Commission office, the North Park Village Nature Center Teen Council will lead a discussion regarding the reimagining of spaces, traditions, and programs of a nature center. After this program concludes, participants are invited to join us for the next program in the series, a lunch and another walk and discussion at North Park Village Nature Center, this time led by the 33rd Ward Youth Council.
