Alert

LAKEFRONT TRAIL CLOSURE ALERT:

The pedestrian trail just south of Fullerton Ave. (2300 - 2200 N) is CLOSED until further notice. View a map of wet pavement cautionary areas along the lakefront and please heed the warning signs in these areas.

There is no shortage of popular sites to see in the Chicago park system.  From the Clarence Buckingham Memorial Fountain, the  second most visited park landmark in the U.S., and the 20-acre Maggie Daley Park downtown, to the historical Jackson Park and one-of-a-kind Big Marsh bike park on the south side, to the tranquil North Park Village Nature Center and the vast array of artworks in Lincoln Park on the north end of the city.  Whether you're a first time visitor traveling a long distance to this great city, or a lifelong Chicagoan looking for something new to do, we invite you to come and explore these featured parks, facilities and sites throughout Chicago's parks.
