Description

This sculpted head of Jean Baptist Point Du Sable was part of the Floating Museum's River Assembly project on the Chicago River in 2017. Du Sable is often recognized as the "Founder of Chicago" because he was the first permanent non-Indigenous settler of what would become the city of Chicago.
