Northerly Island

Due to a recent fire, and for the safety of our patrons and park staff, the Northerly Island Park Fieldhouse is closed to the public with limited access to emergency staff only as we assess damage, and make necessary repairs. Individuals enrolled in Winter Break Camps have been notified, and the popular winter activity Polar Adventure Days will be relocated to Big Marsh Park in January and February, dates to be released soon. Snowshoe rental is postponed indefinitely, but the park is open for leisure use. Pier parking passes, previously available for purchase at Northerly Island Park and the Park Bait Shop, will temporarily be sold at the Lincoln Park Cultural Center (2045 N. Lincoln Park West) on Thursdays, with the exception of December 14th & 21st. Sales resume on December 28th at the Lincoln Park Cultural Center.
