LAKEFRONT TRAIL ALERT:

The bike & pedestrian trails are open in their entirety, but caution must be used at the Oak St. curve where the trail narrows considerably. Additionally, icy conditions are still possible, especially in the morning. Crews are monitoring daily, starting at 6 am. Please exercise caution.

The Burnham Wildlife Corridor (BWC) is a 100-acre ribbon of urban wilderness running through Burnham Park, anchored by the McCormick Bird & Butterfly Sanctuary on the north to the Burnham Nature Sanctuary on the south.
