Indian Ridge Marsh (Park No. 565) Natural Area
Description
Park No. 565 Natural Area, sometimes called "Indian Ridge Marsh", is 150 acres of marsh, wet prairie, and savanna habitat in the Calumet region. The park is split into north and south sections, separated by 122nd St., with parking available at each end. Soft-surface (mulch, grass, dirt) trails provide fantastic views of the marshlands which provide important habitat for local wetland birds.
