Lincoln Park - Peace Garden
Description
The Peace Garden contains 0.3 acres of native plantings within Lincoln Park, in the Buena Park neighborhood. In the mid-1980s, the Chicago Park District worked with Greenpeace Great Lakes and members of the Uptown community to renovate an existing rock garden and install native plants.
This tranquil garden provides a respite for bikers, joggers, and walkers along the Lakefront Trail.
Help keep wildlife wild, safe, and healthy by following posted signage and Natural Areas Rules and Regulations. For questions regarding Chicago Park District Nature Gardens, email nature@chicagoparkdistrict.com.
