History
The Chicago Park District worked with the City Planning Department to identify property located at 247 W. 128th Street, in the West Pullman Community Area and commonly referred to as Mittal Woods. This property was wooded and located along the Little Calumet River. The City acquired land and transferred it to the Park District in 2018 to create this park. This park was developed into a Nature Preserve Park.
