Description
In the summer of 1999, several Chicago Park District art instructors participated in a Mosaics in the Park project. The teachers worked with children in their parks to produce colorful broken tile mosaics. The children in Sherman Park worked under the guidace of Barbara Miller. They produced a composition in 3-panels depicting elements relating to nature in the city. These include flowers and trees, water with swans and fish, and stars and planets in the sky.
