TIP Fest: Where Chicago’s Young Creatives Take Over the Stage

TIP Fest (Teens in the Park Fest) has been Chicago’s biggest stage for teen talent since 2015 — created to give young artists a place to shine, be heard, and take up space in the city’s creative landscape. What started as a citywide talent competition has grown into a full‑scale celebration of youth voice, artistry, and community. Over the years, TIP Fest has launched young performers, connected teens to industry professionals, and built a platform where Chicago’s next generation of creators can rise.

And now, TIP Fest is leveling up.

This isn’t just a variety showcase — it’s a full creative experience built for teens and powered by teens.

• No more contest — all opportunity. TIP Fest is now a performance showcase where young artists get to hit a professional stage, backed by lights, sound, a crowd ready to vibe with them and a top tier paid opportunity.
• Purpose‑driven programming. Workshops, creative labs, wellness experiences, and artist development sessions help you grow your craft, your confidence, and your network.
• A festival that feels like YOU. Music, movement, fashion, visual art, culture, vendors, food — TIP Fest brings together everything that makes Chicago’s youth scene powerful and unstoppable.
• Industry access. Connect with professionals who know the game, respect young talent, and want to see you win.
• Access to city spaces. Part of this year’s event will take place on Oakwood (41st St.) Beach. We are activating the beach intentionally.
• A new era with PepRallyTakeOver.  TIP Fest is partnering with PepRallyTakeOver, a youth‑focused powerhouse that has reached more than 50,000 students across 75 schools. PRTO knows how to turn a moment into a movement. Together, we’re creating a festival experience that’s loud, joyful, meaningful, and unforgettable.

• Must be age 14-24
• Must live in Chicago
• Must audition. Register for an audition.
