WGN Drive-Thru Toy Drive benefiting the Chicago Park District

The Chicago Park District has been chosen as the beneficiary of the 16th annual WGN Morning News Drive-Thru Toy Drive.  Toys will be given to families in need at three Winter Wonderland events hosted in the parks.  Learn more about those events below. 

Please consider participating in the toy drive by dropping off a new, unwrapped gift at WGN-TV, 2501 W. Bradley Place in Chicago, on December 14 from 5-10 am.  If you can’t make it to WGN, you can visit one of 24 Chicago Park District locations accepting toy donations as part of the Toy Drive, from November 26 through December 13.  See a list of those locations below.

Winter Wonderland Family Festivals

Toys from the WGN Morning News Drive-Thru Toy Drive will be distributed at the following events.  In addition to the toy giveaway, these events feature music, performances, snacks, and arts and crafts activities.  

Please note:  Toys will be distributed to children up to 12 years old, as part of the overall event, while supplies last. Only one toy per child.

All three events take place on December 15, from 12 p.m. to 3 p.m.
