Annually, more than 300,000 people participate in thousands of sports, recreational, cultural and environmental programs offered by the Chicago Park District.  Program opportunities are available for people of all ages, in neighborhood parks throughout the city.

Winter Programs

View winter programs beginning Monday, November 17.
Online registration for parks located west of California Ave. begins on Monday, December 1, 2014.
Online registration for parks located east of California Ave. begins on Tuesday, December 2, 2014.
In-person registration begins on Saturday, December 6 for most parks.  Some parks begin in-person registration on Monday, December 8.
Winter programs run the week of January 5, 2015 through the week of March 16, 2015.

Learn to Swim Coupon Code

Beginning with the winter 2014 season (Jan - March 2014 classes), the first session (10 weeks) of Learn to Swim classes for ages 6-17 is free, when using coupon code “FirstFree”. Once the coupon code is used, fees will apply for Learn to Swim classes in subsequent sessions, or an additional class in the same session. Learn more.

  • Registration Check List - First time registering with us?  Take a minute to review the registration check list prior to registration day.
  • Create an Account - Patrons must create an account before registering for a program, membership or event online.  Accounts can be created online or in-person at the parks.  An account is required whether registering online or in-person.
  • Login to Your Account - Login to your registration account.
  • Memberships - Register for fitness center or lap swim memberships.
  • Registration Dates - View the registration dates and program session dates for the full year.
