Programs

Annually, more than 350,000 people participate in thousands of sports, recreational, cultural and environmental programs offered by the Chicago Park District.  Program opportunities are available for people of all ages and abilities, in neighborhood parks throughout the city.

Spring Programs

Most spring programs run the week of April 3 through the week of June 5.
Registration is on-going while spots are available.  Register for spring now.
Note: Gymnastics centers, McFetridge Sports Center & Morgan Park Sports Center follow different dates from those listed above.  

Summer Programs

Online registration for parks located west of California Ave. begins on Monday, April 24.
Online registration for parks located east of California Ave. begins on Tuesday, April 25.
In-person registration begins on Saturday, April 29 for most parks.  Some parks begin in-person registration on Monday, May 1.

The standard 6-week day camp runs June 26 - August 4.  Specialty camp dates vary.
Most other summer programs run the week of June 19 through the week of August 21.

Late summer camps, offered at many parks, run August 7- August 11 or August 18 (varies by park).

Learn to Swim Coupon Code

Beginning with the winter 2014 season (Jan - March 2014 classes), the first session (10 weeks) of Learn to Swim classes for ages 6-17 is free, when using coupon code “FirstFree”. Once the coupon code is used, fees will apply for Learn to Swim classes in subsequent sessions, or an additional class in the same session. Learn more.
