Annually, more than 300,000 people participate in thousands of sports, recreational, cultural and environmental programs offered by the Chicago Park District.  Program opportunities are available for people of all ages, in neighborhood parks throughout the city.

Newly Designed Program Registration Site!

The program registration site has a new design, including a mobile friendly version!
The changes 
will make it easier to register for programs and memberships, while the mobile site allows patrons to register from devices such as smartphones and tablet computers.  Learn more about the changes implemented, and tell us what you think once you check it out.

 

Summer Programs

View summer programs beginning Monday, March 30.
Online registration for parks located west of California Ave. begins on Monday, April 13, 2015.
Online registration for parks located east of California Ave. begins on Tuesday, April 14, 2015.
In-person registration begins on Saturday, April 18 for most parks. Some parks begin in-person registration on Monday, April 20.

The standard 6-week day camp runs June 29 - August 7.  Specialty camp dates vary.
Most other programs start the week of June 15 and run through the week of August 17.

Learn to Swim Coupon Code

Beginning with the winter 2014 season (Jan - March 2014 classes), the first session (10 weeks) of Learn to Swim classes for ages 6-17 is free, when using coupon code “FirstFree”. Once the coupon code is used, fees will apply for Learn to Swim classes in subsequent sessions, or an additional class in the same session. Learn more.
