Registration Information

Chicago Park District programs are offered through four seasonal sessions each year: winter, spring, summer and fall.  Registration for these activities may be available online and/or in-person, depending on the park.  Online registration is divided in to two zones over two days.  The zones are defined by California Avenue (2800 W.).  Parks located west of California Ave. begin registration on the first of two registration days each season, and parks located east of California Avenue begin online registration the following day.  For each season, patrons can view programs offered and create their wish list two weeks prior to the first day of online registration.

Winter Programs

Most winter programs run the week of January 9 through the week of March 13.
Registration is on-going while spots are available.  Register for winter now.
Note: Gymnastics centers, McFetridge Sports Center & Morgan Park Sports Center follow different dates from those listed above.  

Spring Programs

View spring programs beginning Monday, February 13.
Online registration for parks located west of California Ave. begins on Monday, February 27.
Online registration for parks located east of California Ave. begins on Tuesday, February 28.
In-person registration begins on Saturday, March 4 for most parks.  Some parks begin in-person registration on Monday, March 6.
Most programs run the week of April 3 through the week of June 5.

Learn to Swim Coupon Code

Beginning with the winter 2014 season (Jan - March 2014 classes), the first session (10 weeks) of Learn to Swim classes for ages 6-17 is free, when using coupon code “FirstFree”. Once the coupon code is used, fees will apply for Learn to Swim classes in subsequent sessions, or an additional class in the same session. Learn more.
