The Chicago Park District will host its 107th Silver Skates Speed Skating Competition at 6 public ice rinks, including Mt. Greenwood Park, 3721 W. 111th St.
Skaters ages 6 and older can compete in a speed skating time trial for free. The series culminates at the Citywide Championship on January 20, at McFetridge Sports Center, 3843 N. California Ave.
