Park No. 535
Description
Located in the Lincoln Park community, Park No. 535 is 0.14 acres and it is a quaint play area designed for the little ones ages 5 & under. The playground features colorful play areas, including swings, a playhouse, and caterpillar soft surface bridge.
History
This site was a small city plaza with trees, lighting, and benches and was built in the 1960's. In 2005 the Chicago Park District entered into a lease agreement with the City of Chicago to develop the site as a CPD park and in 2006 a playground was installed.
