Experience the beauty of the season at two of Chicago’s most unique natural areas — Northerly Island Park and Big Marsh Park — with a full day of family-friendly outdoor and indoor fun.

Since 2005, Polar Adventure Days has celebrated Chicago’s winter wildlife and natural beauty. This cherished event now brings the joy of the season to both the Museum Campus and the Southeast Side, introducing visitors to the city’s rich ecological and cultural landscapes.

Parking

  • Northerly Island: Parking is available for $5 per car (cash only).
  • Big Marsh Park: Free parking

Admission is free! No registration required.
