T.I.P. (Teens in the Park) Fest now in it's 9th season is the largest platform for Chicago’s young artists to showcase their talent, connect to resources and celebrate one another's talents.  This stage gives young artist, including singers, rappers, dancers, spoken word artists, musicians, and poets between the ages of  14 and 24 to showcase their art and interact with other creators. 

Several artists auditioned at three events this summer.  A judging panel made of music industry professionals, reps from the Chicago Park District, and John Walt Foundation selected 12 finalists to perform at T.I.P. Fest on September 7.  The top three performances at T.I.P. Fest will receive monetary/cash awards.

Ajen3

This multi-talented individual given the name, Ajene (uh-jeh-nay) is going to be singing “Why” from the musical tic…tic…BOOM. Born and raised in Chicago, he wants to spread his passion far and wide through his music.

Color

Color was selected as a “Rising Star” out of over 500 contestants at a Lyrical Lemonade Summer Smash, has toured the Midwest with the Sofar Sounds organization, and has had her music reposted by Fat Joe, amassing over 400,000 streams, all in about a year and a half! 

Da’Mia

Da'Mia is a 23-year-old performer from Jefferson City, MO. Currently a student at Chicago State University and a proud member of Delta Phi Delta Dance Fraternity Inc., Da’Mia is actively engaged with the vibrant dance community.

Gia

Gia is a passionate vocalist with the gift of whistle tone, like some of the greats such as Minnie Ripperton, Mariah Carey, and Chanté Moore. She skillfully incorporates this remarkable ability into her performances, setting her apart with her unique vocal prowess.

Grace Everett

Grace Everett is a musical theatre performer with autism, and she strives to make the arts more welcoming to everyone! Grace is an incoming Senior at The Theatre School at DePaul University, where she studies Playwriting. 

Juby DaGod

South side native Juby DaGod has been making noise with his uplifting melodies and captivating lyrics. He is coming close to dropping a new mixtape in July and wants you guy’s opinion on it.

 

Liv

My name is Liv, I’m 17 years old & I’m from the north side of Chicago. I’m currently a senior at lincoln park high school. I am a rapper, singer, poet, artist & clothing designer.

TheSAGA

Introducing TheSAGA, a fresh talent in the music world who has been crafting melodies since childhood. Her songs masterfully transform profound philosophical concepts into lyrics that resonate deeply with the urban soul.

Tru Dzple 

Tru Dzple is a queer multidisciplinary healing artist from the southside whose sound is very eclectic! They bring a unique energy to all spaces that they encounter.

Walt The King

Walt the King is a Michael Jackson tribute artist born and raised in Chicago. Walt The King has performed across the city for 15 years, with the goals of uplifting the youth, self-improvement and to honor his idol Michael Jackson.

Zion Ali

Zion Ali is a youth artist with the mission to change the narrative about his generation and younger by creating art & music that uplifts & heals the mind of our future scholars & leaders!
