The Regular Board Meeting of the Commissioners of the Chicago Park District will be held on September 14, 2022, at 11:30 AM or immediately following the Public Hearing. The Regular Board meeting will be held at Fosco (Peter) Park at 1312 S. Racine Avenue, Chicago, IL 60608.
Please Note: With the City of Chicago in the "High" risk category for community transmission of COVID-19, the Chicago Park District is following the Chicago Department of Health's recommendation that individuals wear a mask in our indoor public spaces. As such, masks will be strongly recommended at these meetings.

Illinois Compiled Statutes for Special Districts: The current Chicago Park District was created in 1934 by the Illinois Legislature under the Park Consolidation Act. By provisions of that act, the Chicago Park District consolidated and superseded the then-existing 22 separate park districts in Chicago, the largest three of which were the Lincoln Park, West Park, and South Park Districts, all of which had been established in 1869.
