Outside Regenstein Center for African Apes facing the zebra habitat
This stylized outline of a gorilla is incised into a granite boulder. The Lincoln Park Zoo commissioned the carved artwork for the Lester E. Fisher Great Ape House in 1976. In recent years, the Regenstein Center for African Apes replaced the older building, but the sculptural boulder remains.
