In the summer, we offer four positions for ages 16 and up: Lifeguard, Recreation Leader (for day camp), Special Recreation Leader (for day camps for kids and adults with intellectual disabilities), and Junior Laborer (landscape maintenance). Additional positions are available for ages 18+.

Lifeguards
2025 Pay Rate: $19.75/hour. Ages 16+
Paid Certification • Paid Training • Helping People
Lifeguards keep swimmers safe at beaches and pools. Stay active all summer and earn life-saving qualifications.

Work with kids • Weekends & evenings free
Recreation Leaders lead activities and games for kids at Summer Day Camp. Develop leadership skills while
working with kids and having fun!
Positions run roughly 6 weeks, from mid-June to early August.

Keep the parks clean and beautiful while working outside over the summer. Perfect for teens looking for entry-level experience in landscape maintenance.
